About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate individual with a strong background in horticulture technology and commercial development. You will play a key role in identifying new business opportunities, forging strategic partnerships, and supporting the go-to-market strategy for cutting-edge technologies that are helping shape the future of food production.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams to understand product capabilities, market needs, and customer challenges—translating these insights into targeted growth strategies and impactful commercial outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities across target markets, both in the UK and internationally

  • Develop and maintain strategic relationships with key stakeholders across the horticulture, food production, and agri-tech ecosystems

  • Shape and execute go-to-market strategies for new technologies and solutions

  • Support product positioning and customer engagement, using your horticultural knowledge to communicate value clearly and credibly

  • Provide market intelligence and commercial insights to guide business and product strategy

  • Represent the business at trade events, conferences, and client meetings as a credible, knowledgeable ambassador

About You

  • Proven experience in a business development, commercial, or strategic role within the horticulture or agritech sector

  • Strong understanding of horticulture systems, technologies, and market dynamics

  • Demonstrated ability to identify and convert opportunities into long-term value

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

  • Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to work independently and adapt quickly

  • A genuine interest in sustainable agriculture, food systems, and innovation
