About the Role

Our client is seeking a motivated and passionate Sales Representative to join their dynamic team and play a key role in expanding their presence within the agricultural sector.
In this role, you will act as the main point of contact for the company’s most important clients, nurturing long-term relationships whilst also leading efforts to secure new business. Your strong understanding of agricultural practices combined with your enthusiasm for digital innovation will enable you to identify client needs and deliver tailored solutions that provide genuine value.
Responsibilities

Identify potential clients and uncover new business opportunities through proactive lead generation

Acquire new clients by thoroughly understanding their key needs and requirements

Build and maintain trusting relationships with a portfolio of clients

Grow existing customer relationships by consistently proposing solutions that align with their objectives

Prepare tailored proposals for both existing and prospective clients

Negotiate contracts with key clients, ensuring deadlines are met to support their long-term goals

Successfully close deals and consistently achieve sales targets

Ensure timely delivery of the correct products and services to customers

Provide excellent customer service via email and phone communication

Act as the primary liaison between key customers and internal teams to ensure smooth communication

Collaborate with the commercial department to develop and enhance sales conditions

Meet and exceed commercial budgets, control expenses, and achieve sales revenue targets

Monitor trends in the agricultural market, identify new business opportunities, and offer feedback to improve products and strategies

Represent Trapview at trade shows, workshops, and other industry events, promoting the brand and networking with industry professionals

Deliver presentations and demonstrations of Trapview products, highlighting their features and benefits for integrated pest management

Play a vital role in generating new sales that foster long-lasting client relationships

Compile and present reports on account progress, goals, and forecasts to account teams and stakeholders
Requirements and Skills

Bachelor’s degree in Agronomy, Agricultural Engineering, Biological Sciences, or a related field
-
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in sales and solution provision based on customer needs; knowledge of digital solutions in agriculture and agronomy is a strong advantage

Demonstrated responsibility towards clients and company goals

Proven track record as a Sales Representative or in a similar sales role

In-depth knowledge of the French agricultural market

Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and CRM software

Strong problem-solving and negotiation skills

Excellent organisational abilities

Outstanding negotiation and leadership qualities

Exceptional customer service skills

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of delivering engaging presentations and building strong relationships

Ability to build rapport with key clients and manage multiple client accounts effectively
-
Willingness and ability to travel frequently within France
-
Intermediate to advanced English language proficiency is considered a plus
