Chief Technology Officer (CTO)

We are seeking a strategic and hands-on Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to lead formulation development and innovation for a pioneering company in the agricultural technology sector. The CTO will be responsible for ensuring that all formulations meet the highest standards of quality, regulatory compliance, and customer satisfaction. This role oversees R&D facilities, resources, and ongoing process improvement, while maintaining strong connections with third-party collaborators and protecting intellectual property.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership & Roadmap Development:

• Develop and implement a technology roadmap to enhance existing and create new formulation platforms.

• Align technology strategy with broader business objectives, translating plans into operational goals with clear resource, budget, and timeline requirements.

• Monitor relevant developments in formulations, technologies, and markets; maintain a robust network of suppliers and technology partners.

• Drive innovation through idea generation and support patent-related activities.

Operational Execution:

• Lead day-to-day management of the formulation lab and oversee team performance.

• Build and maintain partnerships with technology and distribution partners to drive joint innovation and collaboration.

• Manage projects end-to-end, from setup (contracts, planning, governance) to strategic execution and closure.

• Oversee the development pipeline, including stage-gate processes and quality control measures.

• Effectively communicate formulation capabilities to partners, distributors, and broader audiences.

• Continuously improve facilities, processes, and resource utilization.

Cross-Functional Support:

• Guide technology transfer to third-party manufacturers and provide technical support for production.

• Collaborate with regulatory and sales teams to support product registration and commercialization.

• Ensure alignment between R&D efforts and intellectual property protection strategies.
